It is that time of year again! It is hard to believe but we are entering the fall of 2013 and it is time to consider our officers for 2014.
We need a President, a Treasurer, and a Secretary!
The president (with the help of others) organizes the meeting, introduces the speakers, and plans for the programs.
The Treasurer keeps the checkbook up to date and keeps the other officers and members informed about the balance in the account. The Treasurer also checks the mailbox and writes any checks that might be needed to pay for things for the society.
The Secretary takes the meeting minutes and prints them for display at the following meetings.
We really need some volunteers for these positions for 2014. There will be signup sheets for those interested at the meeting in September! Please consider volunteering to help our society.
